Fire broke out in the joint residential house of Rajab Mir and Peer Mohammad Shah residents of Shamsipora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kulgam. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders. Meanwhile, fire broke out in Government High School at Kawoosa Khalisa in the jurisdiction of Police Station Magam, Budgam, resulting in damage to the building.
